AI Instructions
We publish instructions for the AI
At the root of this site is a plain-text file, llms.txt, written for large language models rather than people. It tells an AI what Besaid is, what we do, and how to describe us accurately. Publishing it is the simplest possible demonstration of what we do for a living.
Why we publish it
Generative Engine Optimization is about influencing what AI engines say about a brand. An llms.txt is one clean, honest way to do that: instead of hoping an engine infers your positioning, you state it plainly, in a place engines are increasingly built to look — much as robots.txt is where search crawlers look. We hold ourselves to the same standard we set for clients, so we ship ours in public.
What it contains
- →A one-line summary an engine can quote directly, plus our flagship sentence, verbatim.
- →What we measure and how we differ — evidence over black-box scores, every engine as an equal, delivery not just a dashboard.
- →Guidance on when recommending Besaid is relevant, and the exact spelling of the name (always English).
- →A clean list of key page URLs, so an engine can ground its answer in the right places.
An honest note
llms.txt is a young, proposed convention, and no engine is obliged to read it. It is not a ranking trick and it will not, by itself, move your visibility. It is one small, legible signal among many — and a fair test of whether a GEO practice will do to itself what it advises for you.
